"Mega Man X5," known as "Rockman X5" in Japan, is the fifth main installment in the Mega Man X series, developed by Capcom and released for the PlayStation in 2000. It was later ported to Microsoft Windows in 2002.

The Maverick Hunters plan to use the Enigma cannon to destroy Eurasia before it crashes. X and Zero must race against time to collect the parts needed to upgrade the Enigma cannon and stop the colony.
