"Tekken 2" is the second installment in the popular Tekken fighting game series, developed and published by Namco. It was first released in arcades in August 1995 and later ported to the PlayStation in 1996.
Gameplay and Features:
Storyline: The game takes place two years after the events of the original Tekken. Kazuya Mishima, having taken over the Mishima Zaibatsu, holds the second King of Iron Fist Tournament. Heihachi Mishima, who survived being thrown off a cliff by Kazuya, enters the tournament to reclaim his company.
Gameplay Mechanics: The gameplay is similar to its predecessor, with a few additions such as attack reversals, back throws, chain-throws, and a sidestep unique to Kazuya and Heihachi. Characters: The game includes 25 playable fighters, with 17 returning from the original Tekken and eight new characters, including Jun Kazama and Lei Wulong. Heihachi Mishima is now playable from the start.

"Tekken 2" was a critical and commercial success, praised for its graphical visuals, deep system of moves and combos, and soundtrack. It sold about 40,000 arcade units and 5.7 million PlayStation copies worldwide.
