"Suikoden" is a series of role-playing video games developed and published by Konami, created by Yoshitaka Murayama. The series is loosely based on the classical Chinese novel "Water Margin" and features themes of politics, corruption, revolution, mystical crystals known as True Runes, and the "108 Stars of Destiny" - the 108 protagonists who are interpreted from the source material.

Suikoden III (2002): Released for the PlayStation 2, this game introduces new gameplay mechanics and a more complex storyline.

Suikoden Tierkreis (2008): A spin-off for the Nintendo DS, with a different storyline and setting.
